Information we collect

Account information from Google Sign-In (your name, email address, and profile photo), used to create your SUUQIYE profile. Profile details you choose to add, such as phone number, city/region, gender, birthday, bio, and — for business accounts — business name, description, address, website, hours, logo, banner, and delivery availability. Listing content you post, including titles, descriptions, categories, prices, condition, city/region, and photos. Content generated by using the app, such as favorites, follows, reviews you give or receive, offers, saved searches, saved addresses, recently viewed listings, chat messages, and reports you file. A device notification token used only to deliver push notifications to your device.

Photos and files

Photos you upload — listing photos, your profile picture, and business logo/banner — are stored with Cloudflare R2, our image hosting provider. Our database stores only the resulting image addresses, never your raw photo files.

Location

SUUQIYE does not access your device's GPS location. City and region are values you choose yourself from a fixed list when setting up your profile, posting a listing, or planning a pickup — we do not track or record where your device physically is.

How we use your data

To operate the marketplace — show your listings, connect you with buyers and sellers through chat and offers, and send relevant notifications — to keep the platform safe by reviewing reports and blocking abusive accounts, and to improve the app based on aggregate usage patterns. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell it to third parties.

Notifications

We use push notifications, delivered through Firebase Cloud Messaging (a Google service), to alert you to new messages, offers, favorites, follows, reviews, price drops, and account activity. You can turn categories of notifications on or off anytime in Settings > Notification Preferences, and revoke notification permission from your device settings.

Sharing and third-party services

We share data only with the service providers that run SUUQIYE, solely to provide the app's functionality: Supabase (our database, authentication, and in-app chat), Google (Sign-In and Firebase Cloud Messaging for push delivery), and Cloudflare R2 (image hosting). We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use advertising or analytics services that track you across other apps.

Security

Access to your data in our database is restricted with row-level security policies, so only you can read or change your private information, and only what's meant to be public — like listings and profile info — is visible to others. Photo uploads use short-lived, single-use signed links rather than exposing storage credentials to the app. Data sent to and from SUUQIYE is encrypted in transit.

Deleting individual data without deleting your account

You don't have to delete your whole account to remove specific data. From the app, go to Settings, then: Edit Profile to clear or change profile fields (phone number, city/region, gender, birthday, bio, business details); My Listings to delete individual listings and their photos; Favorites to remove saved listings; and Saved Addresses to delete saved pickup addresses. Deleted listings, favorites, and addresses are removed from our systems immediately. You can also email suuqiyesupport@gmail.com to request deletion of other specific data, such as individual chat messages or reviews.

Data retention and account deletion

From Settings > Delete Account, you can permanently delete your account. This is irreversible and immediately removes your profile and business details, listings and photos, favorites, followers/following, reviews, saved searches and addresses, notifications and device tokens, and chat conversations from our systems. Reports you filed are also deleted; reports other users filed about your account may be retained for platform safety, consistent with standard moderation practice.

Children

SUUQIYE is not directed at children. As stated in our Terms of Use, you must be at least 18 years old, or have a parent or guardian's permission, to create an account.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as SUUQIYE evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
